Can anyone tell me where the list of student teachers is?
I'm sure it must be somewhere on the site.

Jane I have just asked Admin this very question. I thought we would be included in the main list. Linda

Yes, I too am somewhat surprised as I sent the information to Rich myself. What is stranger still is the fact that I can see students from both courses on the list of users - hence that initial email you received. I am sure that Rich will get it sorted out just as soon as he returns.

Hi Jane and Linda,
I have only included teachers who have finished their courses and qualified with aYs in the 'Find teachers' list.
Trainees are users/members of the website but do not appear in this list.
I can change this if that is what is required.

This is a VERY belated reply from me!
My view is that we should allow student teachers to be included on the list, with the clear indication that they are student teachers only (maybe in a separate section of the list). I will consult the committee and report back.

It seems entirely sensible to include student teachers in a list - indicating that they are currently in training.

Um! Guys, I don't quite know how to tell you this....but I think you'll find that Rich rectified this some time ago.
But we're probably safe, cos' its likely that no one is reading this, and therefore the membership need never know that their committee is having a collective "senior moment."

Yup. Sorted some while back.
Student teachers are on the 'Find teachers' list.
Also shows on their profiles that are still trainees.

Thanks. Serves me right for not having paid the website forums (or fora?) more attention over the past few months.
I have made a resolution to post something on at least one forum every week. We need to do this to kick start more interest. No point in lecturing the members about using the website if we don't do so ourselves.
